You can be confident in the quality of our drivers. Before we take them on, every driver is assessed to ensure that their character and work ethic will meet our customers’ expectations. As well as this, they must complete a competency test – for both driving and customer service – and have their licence and motoring history checked by the DVLA.
After that, we take them through extensive training for their chosen category of driving. Every driver has the opportunity to enhance their qualification with further training, should they wish. As a minimum, all drivers are accredited for tachograph usage, fuel-efficient driving, health and safety, and dealing with on-road occurrences; this is all part of their Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC).
